WE ARE RUN BY VOLUNTEERS

Café Mellemrummet would be an impossibility without the daily energy and dedication from more than 200 volunteers who make sure that every guest feels welcome and that every coffee is served with a smile. The hostel was also largely created with the help of volunteers who built the beds and decorated the walls.

Most days you can come by Café Mellemrummet and see volunteers studying, hanging out and simply using the café as a home away from home. Many of the volunteers are Danish but the café is also run by volunteers from more than 40 countries across the world.
